Comedy on Parade Returns!
The RFT called Bill Chott “better than your average local boy made good” and The Post Dispatch said after his performance in the Farrelly Bros. film that he is “The Real Thing.” This show was The Post Dispatch Critic’s Pick of the Week.
Now Bill Chott presents the return of….Comedy on Parade, St. Louis’s Independent Comedy Night. Before his last trip to LA, his edgy comedy showcase drew huge crowds that summoned up memories of the cutting edge comedy scene of long ago in Gaslight Square. In the last run of this amazing show, St. Louis was introduced to the stars of tomorrow. This time, he’s coming to The Atomic Cowboy at 4140 Manchester Ave. St. Louis MO 63110.
Now in a limited run, Comedy on Parade returns with acts as diverse as the last run which ranged from comedy poet laureate Aaron Belz, to solo acts, improv and sketch presented by The Improv Trick, magic, the music of Jesse Irwin and even clowning with Josh Routh. A grab bag of the best comedy entertainment St. Louis has to offer.
“When St. Louis audiences showed up during a snowstorm for the last run, I knew we could build a really big indie comedy scene in St. Louis.” Chott said. Besides hosting the show when he’s in town, he teaches and performs improv with his troupe The Improv Trick.
This extended run will include Family Week, Political Humor Night, Sick Humor Night, Musical Night, a Special Olympics Fundraiser and MORE! It’s a new show every week, showcasing the top comedy talent in St. Louis. Chott will also be teaching classes in improv and stand up comedy while in town.
